Introduced novice users the Linux / Unix operating systems and the

Assist people in installing Linux onto their computers and train the users
in the operation of the Linux operating system from office productivity
including printing to Internet access including email configuration,
Web access, and multimedia.

Provided the club with a portable server which provides simple network
services including the ability to install software via the network.
